Fast Shutter Speed

I have a Nikon D40 it has the ability to go to 1/4000 of a second shutter speed. I put my Tamron 70-300mm lens, and Sunpak auto 422D on my camera and shot pictures of water coming out of the sink. The water is basically frozen in time. Here are a couple of sample pictures.





PS: The Flash is very important when taking these types of pictures.
